THE QUEEN HAS STILL GOT IT

Two styles from the Monte Carlo collection from Sea Queen.

Former Sports Illustrated model, (and Canadian !) Monika Schnarre, has teamed up with Sea Queen swimwear after the company took a ten year break from the market, to be a spokesperson for the brand.

Vice President of Phantom (maker of Sea Queen), Svetlana Sturgeon says, “We selected Monika Schnarre because she is the ideal face for Sea Queen which is designed to fit and flatter women 35 and up.”

The suits are equipped with SwimTech ContourLift Bra, an ahem.. shall we say pick-me-up for the female form. And, for all of those who think designing is not a science, the suits were constructed by a bra designer, who created malleable moulded cups, that maintain their natural shape, in and out of the water.

The collection of over 50 pieces focuses on runway trends, with a decided sophistication (who needs to run around the beach in a faded, stretched out pink bikini?).

Where to buy these affordable ($80-$120) sexy suits? The Sea Queen range will be sold at The Bay and "fine specialty retailers", but check out: http://www.seaqueen.ca/ for the full list of boutiques.

It looks like that potential trip to the Turks and Caicos is officially a must.
