EVIAN NATURAL SPRING WATER AT TORONTO FASHION WEEK

Evian® Natural Spring Water is pleased to announce that it has signed on to be the exclusive water for LG Fashion Week Beauty by L'Oréal Paris taking place in Toronto from March 16 to March 21, 2009. Evian will be leveraging the event as an opportunity to showcase its Jean Paul Gaultier Bottle, the latest in the company’s line of limited edition designer bottles.

Evian product will be served at all LG Fashion Week events including the media lounge, VIP bar, backstage areas and the highly anticipated opening night reception at Holt Renfrew. Evian’s limited edition Jean Paul Gaultier bottles will be on display at various locations throughout the tents. Released to widespread acclaim in October 2008, the Gaultier-designed bottles are adorned with a pattern of interlocking snowflakes and majestic blue print.

In an effort to promote style and eco-consciousness, Evian has also partnered with Viridis Luxe to create an original design for the “Evian Girls” who will be serving Evian product at select events throughout the week. The Evian Girls will be draped in chic two-toned dresses of “Evian pink” and hot pink, with a plunging neckline held in place by braided straps that flow down the back. The gowns are crafted from hemp silk.

“The Viridis Luxe mission is to design luxurious clothing for those who are making the choice to tread lightly on our planet while continuing to enjoy fashion, luxury and style,” said Hala Behmet, creative director of Viridis Luxe. “‘The Evian Pink’ dresses are the physical manifestation of my goal as a designer: elegant, chic and sustainable.”

Because no great outfit is complete without a fabulous pair of shoes, designer Gracienne Myers created custom-designed high heels with exclusively designed fabric emblazoned with Evian labels for the Evian Girls. The folds of the elegant Viridis Luxe gowns cascade down to give way to these unique pink, blue and white pumps, giving the outfit an authentic Evian feel. The shoes are made from 100% recycled PET. Evian plastic bottles are also made of PET, with the brand’s most popular bottle sizes, the 1 L and 750 mL, containing 25% post-consumer recycled PET.
