Pianist Ezequiel Barrera delights the crowd with a concert.

Though fresh snow was falling in Calgary, the wet weather didn't stop hundreds of guests from gathering at Olives space, for an evening of Mexico in support of MOCA (formerly Triangle Gallery).

Concert Pianist and composer Ezequiel S. Barrera played a lively concert, including a Rondena by Isaac Albeniz, and the beautiful Balada Mecana by Manuel M. Ponce which brought the crowd to it's feet. Tapas from Yoli's Fresh Mexican Grill.was served throughout the evening, as well as cocktails from the always delightful staff of Grandbois Group. In addition, a silent auction with a selection of items and raffle was held in support of MOCA.

With representatives from Mexico speaking to the importance of Cinco de Mayo and a large flag greeting guests, the mood was festive and fun and quite befitting the holiday.
