WOLFORD OPENS IN CALGARY

The 60 year old company specializes in innovative knitwear and is the premier luxury brand for stockings, ready-to-wear items, underwear and bathing suits.

At the ribbon cutting ceremony in Calgary at Arts Central, models wearing Wolford designs mingled with the awaiting crowd, while later that evening, guests enjoyed more celebrations at The Palliser's Oval Room, including the beautiful music from Los Morenos.

INSIP(RED) FOR CHANGE

BEAUTIFUL BRUNCH
On April 20, model mothers Liya Kebede, Helena Christensen and Christy Turlington gathered at the Spotted Pig in New York. Attendees created their own personalized Hallmark cards, with some profits benefiting the Global Fund, which helps children affected with AIDS in Africa.

RUMOR: Are Richie Rich and Traver Rains calling it quits?
The duo behind Heatherette, was notably absent from Fall 2008 fashion week in New York. Some insiders are saying that Richie is on the verge of starting his own line, while other insider sources claim lack of financial backing as the reason for a possible split. Though just finishing designing the Heatherette line for MAC cosmetics, if the label continues, the pair will most likely sell their merchandise through licensing.

FACT: Getting the Cole shoulder
After more than twenty five years in the business, Kenneth Cole will be stepping down as CEO of his company, though he will stay on board as creative director and chairman

FACT: Westman heads to Revlon
Makeup queen Gucci westman was just announced as Revlon global artistic director. She will advise on product developpment and new shades for the cosmetic giant.

1. Linda Evangelisa for Prada Fall 2008: the uber model beats out former star Sasha Pivovarova for the lucrative ad campaign
2. Claire Danes for Gucci Jewellry Fall 2008: taking the spot from Drew Barrymore. Shot by Inez and Vinoodh (ok, what don't these two shoot?)
3. Scott Schuman will star in the Gap Fall 2008 campaign: The sartorialist himself will appear in the ads. Reversal of roles anyone?
4. Angela Lindvall for the Fall 2008 Jimmy Choo campaign : Controversial Terry Richardson will photograph the campaign.
