Happy Apple month!

In the celebration of the 52nd annual Apple Month, BC Tree Fruits hosted an evening of apple filled fun at Home Tasting Room. Each February, Apple Month encourages Canadians to enjoy and celebrate the variety of delicious apples grown in our own backyard.

CSL met with a local BC producer Darcel, whose passion about apple producing in Canada was palpable. She stresses the importance of supporting local producers when we can.

Home Tasting Room's Executive Chef Geoff Rogers created an apple inspired menu and apple spiked beverages highlighting the best of BC Tree Fruits produce.

In February, 700 Okanagan grower/families take the opportunity to celebrate their abundant coffers of autumn fruit during Apple Month. Coincidentally, February also hosts Valentine’s Day and Heart and Stroke month, which makes for a unique triad of thoughts about love, health, and good nutrition.

Eat more BC apples and enjoy Apple month!
