EXPRESS OPENS THREE STORES IN CALGARY

“We have eagerly anticipated our arrival into Calgary with several Express locations,” said Michael Weiss, president and chief executive officer of Express. “Our Canadian customers are really responding to what we have to offer. As we expand our reach throughout Canada, our goal is simple: to deliver not only fashion forward merchandise for men and women, but to also provide an unrivalled shopping experience.” Three retails stores are open in Calgary: Market Mall, Chinook Centre and Southcentre.

"I like to say [about the Express girl], that she never met a sparkle she didn't like", said an Express rep.

Maxi Dresses in lightweight fabrics, suiting, and accessories abound at the store.

Shenae Grimes Express fan and actress notes "I used to drive down to Buffalo with my Dad to shop at Express before they came to Canada. It's so nice that they are up here now and people can experience the stores here."

CHINOOK CENTRE EXPANSION VIP GALA

The red carpet comes alive as part of the VIP gala opening at Chinook Centre

Guests were welcomed to the party with a glass of sparkling wine

Pins with the red and white insignia feature shoes, cutlery, lamps and ice cream cones reflecting the mall's various retailers

We noticed many guests intrigue and delight at the live, moving sweets table
(several girls roamed the two floor event)

Mouth watering demonstrations took place at the new Godiva boutique.




At Lacoste, guests were treated to Veuve Clicquot, while browsing the store for a special personal shopping experience

Not only was this a celebration of the expansion of Chinook centre, but the mall is also celebrating 50 years in Calgary. Happy Golden Anniversary
