Great Events Group celebrated its 30th Anniversary with a fun filled party.  As expected there were several clever displays - plates of lobster salad protruding from an elegantly styled wall, hanging balls of salt and pepper in every colour and seared scallops encased in sardine tins.  Guests made their way through savoury and sweet stations each with their own character while sampling wine and spirits.

Of course leave it to Great Events to host a great event!

Fireworks went off in the mall to much applause

Chantal Kreviazuk performed at the CORE during what was billed as Downtown Calgary's Biggest Private Shopping Night: T'was the night. Amidst crowds on each of the four levels of the mall, servers from Great Events offered delectable nibbles. Music wafted through the mall during the evening from classic music to a girl's choir to cheery song. Shoppers made their way to stores for the many promotions while fireworks exploded above the atrium.

Twas the Night... but many a creature was stirring (though did not see a mouse)!

The team at GreatEvents put on a great event featuring the marriage of food and fashion (so apt to CSL). Guests nibbled on small bites inspired by Paris, Tokyo and Milan while sipping wine and cocktails. Food and fashion - quite the pairing.
